To clear old/stale passwords that are locking your NYSERDA account follow the steps below: 

Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top right, click the Profile icon.

Then click the Passwords icon.

Select the three horizontal dots and click "click delete" next  next to every entry that uses your NYSERDA username/email address or if the site has NYSERDA in its name.

Then select "Settings" towards the bottom.

On the menu that comes up, click the "Privacy & Security " tab on the right hand side, then scroll down to "Logins and Passwords" and click "click Saved Logins…"

Select each site that has your NYSERDA username or email address listed and then select "select Remove" towards  towards the right hand side.
