How to use the Pace Report:

Navigation Tabs:

Use the navigation tabs to switch between the different views of the report. The views listed are the same that appear on the main page of the Pace of Commitment and Expenditure Report.

Parameter Display:

Selected Grouping Parameters appear in this section as separate columns. Each successive Grouping Parameter selected will be displayed as a separate column to the right of the previous Grouping Parameter selected, creating a hierarchical structure to the data that helps you identify the inherent relationships you want reported.

Data Display: This section displays all report data based upon the selected Time Parameters, Grouping Parameters and Filters. This section is adaptive and updates as Time Parameters, Grouping Parameters and Filters are set.

Time Parameters:

Allow you to define the time periods for data shown in the Data Display section.

Grouping Parameters:

These parameters control the sort and grouping of the data by different organizational and funding codes.  As parameters are set for each field in this section, they are displayed as separate columns in Parameter Display section and parsed to show the hierarchical data relationships. You are only able to select one parameter for each drop-down.

Filters:

These 11 drop down fields relate to the Grouping Parameters and allow you to select which to include/exclude. If you make changes to any of the drop-down fields in this section, be sure to hit the Apply button at the bottom of the drop-down window to confirm and apply your selection.

Pace Report Example:

In the example shown below, DIVISION DESC and FUND CODE are set as the Grouping Parameters for the First Field and Second Field in the Grouping Parameters section. We can see in the Parameter Display section how these Grouping Parameters are displayed in separate columns with a structure that shows the relationships between the data elements.

Additionally, a Time Parameter was set to show only data relevant for the 2018 and 2019 Calendar Year which is can be seen in the Data Display section.

Lastly, a Filter was set in the DIVISION_DESC drop-down to only show the Distributed Energy Resources and Large Scale Renewables data elements of the selected Grouping Parameters. We can see in the DIVISION DESC column in the Parameter Display how the Filter effected the viewable data set in both the Parameter Display and Data Display sections.
