Using Video Conferencing Cameras in Meeting WebEx

  1. All WebEx invites should come with information to use in order to join from any of the conference rooms.
    1. Your Personal Rooms information exist under the More ways to join button
    2. If you need to join or are planning an events webinar, the meeting information needed is located here. 
      1. Please make sure to send both the Video address and if necessary the Panelist numeric password along with your invites so the meeting can be joined by conference rooms.
    3. if you know the meeting number and host key for the webinar you can skip to step 2 using the format of MeetingNumber@webex.com as the video conference address. Once dialed you will be prompted for the host key if you are the host or the panelist numeric password if you are connecting as a panelist.
    4. To have host control it is suggested to launch your meeting on a laptop as well to be able to follow along with hand raises and to control mute or unmute. 
  2. The meeting invites should provide you with the address that you will use to connect to the conference with. 
  3. Picking up the video conference remote will activate the call feature for the video conference. Select the call option. If the feature does not activate you can click on the green button on the remote to manually activate it.
  4. Using the arrow buttons on the remote scroll up to the "search or dial" option
  5. Begin entering the email address provided. The letters can be added using the on-screen keyboard.
  6. Once entered, using the remote, click on the green "Call" button
  7. Using the remote Click on the "Share in Call".
