VMWare: Configure VMWare Horizon Client
From your PC/Laptop access https://clouddesktop.nyserda.ny.gov/ and click on the Install VMWare Horizon Client icon.
Choose the appropriate software installation for your computer's operating system and click on Go to Downloads. If you are not sure which operating system version you are running you can find instructions on the NYCourst.gov site.
Use the default install options to complete the software installation.
Open the SecureAuth application on your phone. If you do not have this installed please review the SecureAuth: Configure Multi-Factor Authentication page. This generates the passcode required when logging in.
Double click the VMWareVerizon Client icon on your computer.
Click the New Server Icon. You will be prompted with a box asking for the name of the Connection Server.
Enter the following in the available field: mydesktop.nyserda.ny.gov and then click Connect.
You will be prompted to enter your SecureAuthRADIUS username and passcode. Enter your username as you normally would, then enter the six-digit number being generated by the SecureAuth application from your phone.
If the previous step was done correctly, you will be prompted to enter in your NYSERDA password. The domain will auto-populate to NYSERDA.
You will then select the VM pool to which you have been assigned by double clicking the icon. If you are not within your VM, you will only see NYSERDA Visitors and Conference Rooms. If you are in your VM, you can connect to your normally assigned virtual machine.
