Project Leads that no longer require the use of a SharePoint Site can request IT to archive said site. The process is to simply remove the users from the site so that they no longer have access to it,


Step-by-step guide

  1. Set the main site to unique permissions only containing the three main groups. (Visitors, Members, Project Leads)
  2. Remove all users from the 3 main groups.
  3. Have all document libraries and subsites inherit from the main site
  4. Check and clean up any unique permissions.
  5. Done
