Salesforce CRM users must follow the NYSERDA Information Security Policy and Procedure Manual. They must observe the highest standards of business and professional ethics while promoting NYSERDA’s objectives and interests. They must conduct business in a way that withstands public, media, legal, and organizational scrutiny.

In general, do not enter Personal, Private, and Sensitive Information (PPSI) into Salesforce. If you have data or artifacts that fall under the PPSI definition per NYSERDA’s Data Governance guidelines, seek out your Salesforce Liaison and discuss how best to proceed. Your Liaison can work with you to identify if the Salesforce Governance Council needs to review this information.
