With the OneDrive Desktop Application, you can move files between your computer, the cloud, and SharePoint or Microsoft Teams Document Libraries using the same navigation as with File Explorer (Windows & Mac OS). This is the easiest way to move folders or files between locations but  but requires that you have access or permissions to the folder or file destination.

To move files to or from OneDrive, SharePoint Sites, and Microsoft Teams Channels:

• Ensure the OneDrive Desktop Application is installed on your device.
• Follow the instructions in the OneDrive: File Synchronization to sync the document libraries you want to move folders or files between.
